Est-ce vraiment étonnant, vu de la façon que la langue française est continuellement massacrée sous le faux prétexte que c’est une langue compliquée et par le fait que c’est soi-disant plus rapide et plus commode d’écrire en mode “texto”?

It was too late to have breakfast at the cafeteria at work and too early to go to the office so I stopped at an IHOP close by. As I was almost finished eating, an elderly lady was seated at the table behind me and I could hear the conversation she was having with the waitress, inquiring about the prices of different items from the menu. It bothered me a whole lot because she had to make the choice between a juice and a coffee to have with her food. So when the waitress came with my bill, I got up and went to the counter and paid for my breakfast as well as for the lady. The waitress asked me if I wanted the lady to know who paid for her and I said no. Just to make sure that she knew her meal was paid for.

It wasn’t much but it felt wonderfully great. And hopefully, with the extra cash saved from her breakfast, she had a better lunch or was able to afford a little something to brighten her day.
